- You should now see a population distribution that is skewed to the right. Verify that the population mean and standard deviation are set again to 8 and 1.5 respectively.
- Check the Show Sampling Options box.
- Set the Number of Samples to 1000.
- Set the sample size to match our class data.
- Press Draw Samples.
- Change the Count Samples pull-down menu to less than and specify the observed sample mean for our class in the box.
- Press Count.
- Take a screen capture of the the graph of the sample means and paste into your report.
(j) In the second column of the table in your report, paste (and shrink) the screen capture, and state the shape, mean, and standard deviation for distribution of sample means arising from this new population. Also report the new approximate p-value.
