Model - Least Squares Regression
To summarize a linear relationship, we often want to determine the "best fit" line. You will next explore one way for determining this line.
- Toggle back to the Correlation/Regression applet and check the Show Movable Line box.
- Clicking your mouse on the green square in the middle to move the line up and down and on the green squares at the ends of the line to rotate the line, place the movable line in a manner that you feel summarizes the overall relationship in the data.
